Spring break comes around
It’s a time of vacation.
But there’s something else
That needs some explanation.
Easter bunnies on the mind –
This can’t be the way
We picture in our heads
The Son came to save.
Have we turned a holiday
Into an annual idol?
What’s this world come to?
Religion seems as common as a smile.
Let us make a difference
And show the world what’s right
So we can make an impact
And shine on through the night.
Easter is not a holiday –
Not a time of giving gifts.
It is a reminder
To us that the Savior lives.
So in celebrating Easter,
Remember what is true.
Tell the world the Savior lives!
